The Mega Millions lottery draw took place on November 1st, 2022, Tuesday and had a jackpot of $87 million on the line that came with a cash value of $43.2 million.

No grand prize winner

The numbers that were drawn in the Mega Millions lottery draw on Tuesday night were 05, 09, 15, 16 and 17, with 25 being the Mega Ball and 3X being the Megaplier.

Unfortunately, there were no players who were able to match the numbers required to claim the jackpot in the Mega Millions lottery draw, which means it will now roll over to the next.

This draw of the Mega Millions lottery will now take place on Friday, November 4th, 2022 and the jackpot will now increase to an impressive $119 million.

Instant millionaires

Even though the grand prize in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery draw may not have had a winner, there were those who did manage to become instant millionaires on the night.

There were a total of 7 players who were able to hit the Match 5 in the Tuesday night drawing of the Mega Millions lottery, which means that they won $1 million each.

However, there was one player out of these five, who had also opted for the Megaplier option when buying the ticket. Therefore, they were able to triple their winnings to $3 million.

The four players who snagged a million each, included two from New York, one from Virginia, one from Ohio, and another from Georgia and the last one from Florida.

As for the one who opted for the Megaplier, they were from Texas.

More prizes

The good news is that there were other players as well who managed to snap up smaller monetary prizes in the Mega Millions lottery draw on Tuesday night.

There were a total of 41 players who managed to hit the Match 4 as well as the gold Mega Ball, so they were able to win $10,000 each.

Out of these, there were seven players who not only hit the Match 4 and the gold Mega Ball, but had also gone with the Megaplier option. Therefore, they were able to win $30,000 each.

As for the rest of the prizes on Tuesday night are concerned, they were between $2 and $1,500.

This latest Mega Millions drawing occurred after three players had become instant millionaires in the last drawing by hitting the Match 5.

One player who won $1 million was from West Virginia and had bought their ticket in Shepherdstown at a Sheetz, while a playerin Florida had bought their ticket in Brandon from a 7-Eleven.

There was another player from Missouri who had bought their ticket worth $2 million in St. Charles at a Circle K.

Mega Millions lottery draws are conducted twice each week, on Tuesday and Friday and it can be played in 45 states, the Virgin Islands and District of Columbia.
