Recent lottery ticket draws saw a grandfather in Peterborough, Ontario claiming more than $100,000 in winnings. He is now planning to use the amount for completing a few home renovations and would invest the rest. As per the OLG, David Anderson was able to match the last six of the total seven numbers in their exact order on an Encore ticket. This was part of a Lottario draw that was conducted on November 13th and helped him bag a prize of $100,000. He also got a prize of $8 through his LOTTARIO play. 

Mr. Anderson is a sheet metal worker and disclosed that he plays the lottery quite frequently and always purchases an Encore ticket. The ticket costs $1 and they are played with most of the other OLG lottery games that have daily draws. Anderson said that he was having some coffee before he took his grandchildren outside and decided to give his lottery ticket a check. He then called his partner and shared that they might have won $100,000. He also told a good friend about it. 

Anderson said that his friend of more than 40 years was a lot more excited than he was. He had bought the winning ticket in Peterborough at the Circle K on Hunter Street. He said that it was just hitting him that things in his life were going to be a lot easier from now on, thanks to his lottery win.
