Tuesday night’s draw of the Mega Millions lottery saw a winning $432 million ticket that sold by a pizza joint located in Midtown Manhattan. Located at 62 W 48th St., Pronto Pizza had the lucky customer who had gone for a pizza slice and had ended up using the lotto machine to buy a ticket that would change their life forever. The money prize of the Mega Millions jackpot has been piling up since 8th June, when it had was last won in Illinois. All six numbers in the jackpot were matched by the winner, which are 36, 51, 41, 56 and 41, along with the Mega Ball 13.

There was another Mega Millions winner hailing from Connecticut who received a $1 million prize, as they managed to get all the numbers right, with the exception of the Mega Ball. Another resident of the New York state from Oneida county had won the Mega Millions prize in February that was around $96 million. The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 303 million. A $10,000 award will also be paid out to the owner of Pronto Pizza for selling the winning ticket. Mega Millions Media Center’s Brad Maione said that the lottery usually provides a commission to the retailers.

Maione also disclosed that the most recent winner would be able to claim around $191.5 million from the $432 million, as 37% taxes are applicable. Winners are required to come forward publicly in all states, with the exception of Delaware, South Carolina, Kansas, Ohio, North Dakota and Maryland. The next Mega Millions drawing will take place on Friday and it restarts at a prize of $20 million. New York state had joined the Mega Millions lottery back in 2002 and around 38 residence of the state have won prizes since then.
